Family Equip wants to promote good mental health for all children. We offer training and consultation for parents and agencies.

Family Support Workers
Our trained volunteers can visit you in your home to listen, offer support, and give advice about all aspects of being a parent.
We arrange groups for mutual support, usually on a monthly basis, where we can provide discussions on parental skills for children with additional needs.
Volunteers can accompany you to meetigs with professionals.
We provide information about services that are available to you and your child.

Equipped to Enjoy – E2E
We offer the following Workshops usually a 3 week course, after school.
- Understanding Anger
We organise Therapeutic Clubs & activities for young people.
We run 4 groups:
- Boys of secondary school age
- Boys from the age of 9
- Girls from the age of 9
- Siblings for both boys & girls from the age of 9
Whilst enjoying themselves, we seek to help the youngsters develop new skills:
- Gain a better understanding of themselves
- Building self esteem and giving a sense of belonging and worth
- Opportunities to improve social skills
- Enabling youngsters to be successful and thereby grow in confidence
